I live in beautiful (though rainy) Portland Oregon with my 2 kids and husband of 28 years. I'm a mother, artist, educator and active community volunteer. My passion is for crafting & and almost anything that is creative. I absolutely love figuring out how to make something, then figuring out ways to simplify the techniques in order to teach others.

For me, blogging is a way to organize my thoughts, improve my writing skills, learn more about photography, share my crafts, research ideas and connect with others who have similar interests.
For many years I enjoyed a professional career as a Graphic Designer - working with reputable companies such as Nordstrom, Ninetendo, and Microsoft as well as several Design Firms.

Hi. I love your shoes and I really would like to try them, however my walmarts don't sell the plain white shoes anymore. And I can't find them anywhere. Do you have any other ideas where to find them? Thanks so much! Maria
ReplyDeleteHi Maria,
ReplyDeleteThe stores I would check are: Payless Shoe Source, JC Penney, JoAnn Fabric and Crafts, Fred Meyer, Target, Kmart, or any other place that sells shoes. You can also go online and search for Keds brand shoes to find retailers.
OMG, your blog is adorable. Wish there was a "follower's list" (I'd become one!).
ReplyDeleteYour blog blinkie is soooo sweet that I grabbed it. :-) You can see it on my blog at:-

Hi there! I attended your class this last Saturday at the 100th Monkey. You did such a great job at instructing and having our kits neatly layed out. It made creating our necklaces so easy! I had such a great time, I rushed home and immediately started thinking of all the people I can make these for! That was the most fun I've had in a long time!
ReplyDeleteI know you mentioned you were going to send out a list of wholesalers/locations you buy your pieces from (glass tiles, etc.). My email address on the form may not have been legible so I wanted to be sure I received the info. I wanted to make some for a benefit concert (silent auction) to benefit a young girl who has terminal cancer :) My contact info is: green.eco.chick [!at] gmail.com
Thanks!
