Wild Horses

I'm looking at photos I took over the summer. These are of a group of wild horses we watched while visiting Kahneeta Warm Springs Indian Reservation in Eastern Oregon.

As we were leaving the reservation, we were lucky enough to witness this wild herd following their leader through the open fields.

The Great White Leader approached the road, but stopped when he saw a car.

He turned to the other horses and would not let any of them come closer until the car had come to a complete stop.

Then, he led them safely to the other side.

Not a sight you see everyday. I'm glad I had my camera handy.
