This folksy angel, made from a recycled hymn book, brought back a flood of memories for me. It reminded me of when I was a child some kind soul took the time to show me how to make these paper-book angels. We neatly folded one corner of each page of an old text book towards the center spine, page after page until we had folded the entire book. We finished it with a coating of gold spray paint. I like how "Aunt B," of Arlington Texas, leaves her pages unpainted and attached to the actual hynmal cover. The crocheted doily collar is a nice touch too. Thank you Aunt B for warming my heart and bringing back many fond memories of Christmas crafting as a child. | Reactions: |
