I received this really great gift that made my day today!

The Little Store in my neighborhood just gave me a bazillion used bottle caps, completely unexpectedly but greatly appreciated. I'm soooo excited but I have my work cut out for me...

I'll be taking all of these used soda caps and turning them into these pendants.
They're made from recycled and cut soda cans and soda caps.

The first step is washing all of these caps in warm sudsy water. Then drying them. Then sorting them.

I love to look at all graphics of over 200 used bottle caps as I sort them into piles, then into clear bowls cut from the bottoms of 2 liter soda bottles. I'm addicted to those 2 liter Bottle Bottoms!
Bottle caps sorted into Bottle Bottoms. Kind of poetic don't you think?

Real Soda. Wouldn't want to drink fake, that's for sure.

I wonder exactly what kind of drink this purple Ram came from?

Oh my. And what do we have here? I'll have to look this one up.
Maybe it's a drink from Weed Oregon? Weed really is a town in Oregon.
There's also a town in Oregon called "Boring." How'd you like to say, "Hi. I"m from Boring Oregon."

I absolutely love these flower lids. So clean and graphic. No name, but you learn to recognize the symbol. That's known as "branding" in the Graphic Design world. Funny thing is, I recognize this brand, but can't recall the name!

Some days, I can totally relate to this cap.

And then there were these...look at the one in the far upper right.

A little unsettling for a Lemonade drink. But clever.

And if you're from Saint Paul, bet you'd love a necklace made from these.

This one is cute, and colorful.

These are from root beer.
They have a different saying on nearly every cap.Sorting...relaxing...ommmmm.

I love every step of the creative process.

Just wait until I bring home boxes and boxes of used soda CANS.
Then I'll really start having some fun!
I really am a cheap date. But I don't tell that to my husband.
