Dalton Ghetti creates micro sculptures on the tip of a pencil

Dalton Ghetti is a professional carpenter with a side passion for carving micro sculptures from the tips of pencils.

Based in Connecticut, Ghetti has been perfecting his micro art for 25 years.

He doesn't sell his pencils, but instead gives them away to friends.

To create his sculptures, Ghetti uses a razor blade, sewing needle, sculpting knife and a No. 2 or carpenter's pencil.

Carving one sculpture takes immense patience. "He's very Zen-like, very patient and quiet," said Rick Torres, owner of Harborview market where some of Ghetti's work is displayed.

Carving one sculpture can take up to two years to complete.

In addition to carving pencils, Ghetti enjoys camping and coaching volleyball.
